I offer a mobile dog grooming service.  I travel to clients' homes to groom their dog(s) in the comfort of their own home.  I do not work from a converted van.  The whole purpose of offering a mobile dog grooming service is so that your dog feels relaxed and comfortable with being groomed at all times, so what better place than in an environment they are totally familiar with where they feel safe.  I have all the required equipment to groom your dog.  If you would like me to include bathing your dog during my visit, all I ask is that I can use your bath or shower.  I can work inside your home or outside in your garden (depending on the weather), wherever is most convenient for you and your dog.

In a regular grooming visit I include the following services:

  • Bath and drying
  • Clipper work or hand-strip (if applicable)
  • Cut claws
  • Pluck ears (if applicable)
  • Clip out hair from in between pads

I have some clients who prefer to bath their dog themselves prior to my visit.  If this is more convenient for you please mention it when booking an appointment so that I can give you an accurate quotation which doesn't include bathing and drying.

If you have a dog that gets knotted and/or matted quite easily and you are not able to keep up with the maintenance of the coat, I also offer a 'brush through' service.  I will visit your dog at your home and give him/her a thorough brush through.  If your dog has matts that are too tough to brush out I will clip them out which is a much better option than putting your dog through any pain from pulling at the skin.

With every dog I groom, I have a good look at their skin, ears, eyes, paws etc. to check that there aren't any health problems with the dog that the owner may not be aware of.  I am not a vet, but if I see something that I feel may need looking at, I will bring it to the owners attention and may suggest a visit to the vet.

Area Covered

I currently don't have a limit in the distance I travel to clients.  The most common areas I work in are Atherstone, Tamworth, Nuneaton and other surrounding towns.  If you're not sure whether I cover your area, please contact me.
